Byrd slowly moved into the sleeping caves of the Tailmeln. With his tail between his legs he crept on the rock, covered with stringy grass. It was all warm to the touch.
The caves were cmpletely desolate. There wasn't a single manen in there. The wallks seemed to be dripping with wetness in the silvery monight, but it was only the way that the grey rock was formed.
Byrd looked back to make sure Mish was following him. He wanted her to be safe, after all.

OOC: Sorry I got out of this for awhile.
Mish followed closely behind him. She felt more confident with a partner. "What are we supposed to do now?" she asked nervously. She looked around the empty cave and shivered.

I suppose we just wait. Byrd sat down heavily. He moved his tail back and forth slowly, as if he had fingers, and they were tapping on the solid, cold floor. I hope the Alpha passes by soon.

As it began to rain, Kelil made his way out of the forest and into the part of his lands that contained the sleeping caves. There were now three members in his tribe, besides himself. Kelil broke into a run, letting his sheer happiness carry him as fast as he could go. When he reached the caves, he picked up a very fresh scent: two manens, one male and one female. He walked cautiously and looked into the mouthes of the caves that he passed. Finally, the scent became stronger and he looked into a large, wet cave to find the two wolves. Hello, he said, sitting at the entrance of the cavern.

Byrd Turned around quickly and smiled, Hello, I'm Byrd, and his is Mish. Byrd stood where he was and nosed Mish to turn around. He looked back at the supposed alpha and lowered his tail to show submission, Might you be the alpha?

I am, said Kelil, grinning. More tribe members? Kelil's heart raced at the thought. Good to meet you, Byrd and Mish. My name is Kelil. It began to rain even harder and Kelil stepped into the cave. He lowered his head and shook his body in an attempt to dry off. Kelil had a feeling that they were looking to join the tribe. Are you here seeking acceptance? he asked nonchalantly. Inside, however, he was excited over possibly having these two as tribe members.

Byrd's ears became suddenly erect, and he looked up at Kelil. Why, yes, we are looking for acceptance. Byrd nodded his head as he said this, and glanced over at Mish, sitting in one spot, speechless. He blinked, and looked back at the Alpha, saying, We would be extremely honored to be accepted here, if you have any room. Byrd smiled kindly.

I would be happy to accept you as a part of the tribe, Kelil said. So many new members, thought Kelil. He added, The Tailmeln will always have room for those who seek acceptance. Kelil took another look at the motionless Mish who still hadn't said a word. Is that your mate? he asked Byrd, nodding in the direction of the beautiful but silent femme. The exciting prospect of a breeding pair in the Tailmeln was almost too much for the Alpha to bear.

Byrd blushed, and looked down at his feet, Well, were not...breeding...but..well....Byrd chuckled nervously. He cleared his throat and looked back at Kelil with a embarrassed, sort of nervous look in his face.
We...just got together. Byrd smiled.

Oh, okay, said Kelil as he nodded. He shook off his thick coat in an effort to dry off. Kelil jumped when he heard the threatening sound of thunder. He grinned at the two wolves, a little embarrassed. It was now pouring rain outside the cave. Kelil asked Byrd, Do you mind if I hang around until this storm passes?

Byrd nodded his head, Not at all Kelil. He blinked and looked over at Mish. She wasn't saying anything...Odd. He nudged her on the cheek with his nose and tilted his head curiously, then turned his head and looked out the cave entrance. Nothing but rain could be seen.

Thank you. Kelil walked toward the closer wall of the cave and laid down, leaning against it. He watched curiously as Byrd nudged Mish. She seemed totally unresponsive. Kelil got up and asked Byrd, Is she okay? The hard rain continued to fall outside the mouth of the cave.

Byrd looked down at the hard floor, he seemed to be concentrating, almost frustrated. His heartbeat was odd, even for a flirt like himself.
On hearing Kelil's voice, he looked up and back at Mish. He scowled harshly at her, then he turned his dark look on the cave door. Byrd closed his eyes, and reluctantly opened them again, before dashing quickly out the entrance of the den.
The rain hit him harshly on the face as he ran, but he needed to get away. The last relationship he got into, he lead them to be murdered brutally, on accident of course. He couldn't let that happent to anyone else. He ran until he was far off the scribes, maybe finding a pack of Barghests...maybe that would stop him, nothing else would.

OOC: So sorry, I just got back, for good. I hope I'm still accepted. Hmm.. I don't expect a reply but:
Mish looked after him, stunned by his sudden departure. A tear came to her eye when she realized her chances of ever seeing him again were dashed. Had she said something wrong? She thought, I didn't say anything at all. She would not let her shyness get in the way again. The first step was to greet her leader. She turned to Kelil and gave him a weak smile, "Sorry, I was thinking. Thank you for accepting me... us." Her voice noticeably cracked on the last word. In an effort to dull the pain in her chest she tried to drift off, but could not. She eventually lay down and put her head on her paws. A pool gathered at her paws, it wasn't from the rain.
