Paint- Pasting images in images?

I'm trying to make a reasonably sized siggy. I want to combine several images of my wolves using paint. The problem is, the pasted images looks abnormal, color wise. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? If someone has a program that doesn't do that, I'd be forever grateful if they combined the images for me.

if you want to do it yourself the problem might be that you're pasting them into a .gif file, which makes the colors become very odd. >_> hard to explain.</sub>
