His ears pricked. "Another new manen?" He mumbled under his breath. But then came a sigh of relief. Hopefully Sequoia still had milk left, the newly orphaned pups needed food or they won't last much longer in life. Dark Metal turned his head slowly to watch Yami and Seqouia.

[Oasis]

Sequoia felt bad for Black Metal. She was psychic after all. She heard his thoughts and silently apologized exchanging a sorry look to Black Metal. She immediatly lay down, letting all 5 pups suck at her nipples. She lay down her head groggily and closed her eyes, not saying anything to anyone.

The black manen flattened his ear. He could slightly understand her, mind thinking hard and his orange orb glowed. But he was thankful for her, and dipped his head. He padded over to a large sandy boulder and kept watch for any suspicious danger.

[Oasis]

She looked at Black Metal, and quickly looked away. She felt competition, and she didint know why. She growled softly, but for no particular reason.

The pups sucked at her belly until they were full and sleepy. Then she picked them up and brought them to the giant oak tree, shaded by its long, sorrowful weeping leaves.
The sun was blazing, so all of the manens retreated to the poor dry oak. It seemed to sigh with every little breeze and rustle of the wind. She glared at Black Metal, and then at his horns. She gulped and growled at Black Metal, giving him a cold glare. She was not usually like this. She channeled her focus onto the puppies, now cozy and warm near her belly.

Dark Metal sighed. He watched Sequoia's looks and movements. Was he hated? Why him? So many thoughts was going through his head. Sighing, he stilled stayed watch on the large boulder. The leader of the tribe would hopefully be here soon.

[Oasis]

Sequoia put the puppies down near the oak. They would be warm. She walked up the steep gravel path that lead to where Dark Metal was standing for quite a while. "Hello..." her voice so soft and smooth, no rockyness whatsoever. She did not look entirely manen. Sequoia's fur glittered in the sunlight. She looked at Dark Metal and smiled, unexpectedly nuzzling his neck softly with her muzzle. She quickly backed away from him and hurriedly said "oh..ohh... Ohh my goodness! Im so sorr---" one of her paws slipped off of the boulder. She slipped and the only thing holding her on the boulder, about 50 feet above ground, was her paws. She clung mercilessly to the boulder.. paws slipping... "Help!" "Help me!" she yelped.. she shook uncontrollably against the large boulders rocky, dusty, dirty side. It scraped her side, shoulders, and legs to the point they started bleeding. She pushed her head up and closed her eyes, trying to hold back the tears of pain back in her eyes. "Dark Metal HELP ME!"
she yelled. One paw slipped... the other one holding onto a loose rock..

His eyes widened, hearing her cries for him to help her. "Sequoia!", He yelped in surprise and half fear. He rushed to where she had slipped, and grabbed her other foot, trying to pull her upwards. "You gotta try to climb up while I help you!" He barked frantically. With all of his strength, he pulled her back up.

[Oasis]

Sequoia yelped and scrambled to the top of the boulder. The pain in her entire body caused her body to produce adrenaline. She looked around her, looking at the frightened faces all around her. She knew she coulden't leave them. She pulled herself up with the help of Dark Metal.She looked into Dark Metal's eyes. Right then, she knew she loved him.

Dark Metal's eyes widened, staring right at her. He backed away a few paces and turned to look away. What was that look? Was it.... He glanced at Sequoia for second, the padded back to the 'safety' of his companion Yami.

[Yami]

{occ: OMG I'm so sorry I was gone so long! Was camping and going around in the car. No computer. Gosh sorry. But I'm here now!}

Yami watched as Dark Metal trotted over to her. She was thankful that Sequoia had helped with the pups, but somehow she that Sequoia would like Dark Metal more than just a friend. But why then was she feeling jealous? She had only known Dark Metal a few days.
But that was more than Sequoia had. Also Sequoia already had a mate! Gosh Yami thought maybe I'd like Dark Metal more than just a friend too. But now all that mattered now was the pups. She curled up by them and they all fell asleep.

Dark metal looked around. "What is going on around here?" The loner brute muttered. He looked at Yami with a slight friendly look then gave Sequoia a confused look. His mind though hard, his silver orb glowing with frustration. He got nothing, his powers where against him for a few minutes, and felt like he was alone.

[Yami]

The pups whined. Yami knew they couldn't stay here, it was too cold. Even her warm fur was not enough. Dark Metal we have to find shelter, the pups are cold! I don't think they'll make it if it gets any colder! She herself was feeling the chill. She shivered, how many other wolfs wouldn't survive
this day?

He nodded. "I agree." Looking around, he searched for some sort of shelter, or other manen that knew a place. Sighing, he padded away about 70 yards, looking with his orange-brown eyes.

[Yami]

Yami struggled to see through the trees. wait what was that? Look! Theres a cave! Yami pushed her legs up and picked up one of pups and ran towards the cave. Grab a pup! I'll race you! And with that she ran to shelter, running fast so she could go back and get the other pups.[/color]

Sequoia looked puzzled, but then eased her face. My work here is finished. she grunted, and ran off with Ransom at her feet. In a few seconds they had disapeared into the thick forest green, with the bushes and foliage still rustling. There was one more manen that they didint know about. Dasani. She narrowed her pink eyes, and squinted. The sunlight was blocked by the heavy clouds, but was still very bright. She grinned , showing her pearly white fangs. Dasani trotted , the grin still plastered on her white and crimson face. She sniffed the ground, renewing the strong scent of Yami, Dark Metal, Makiyado, Gensuza, Gaabi, and Mensii. She licked her lips and shook her head, returning to her original task. The gravel was sharp and dug into her paws as she neared the cave and yelping of puppies. Haha.... she laughed certain that he would be there. Dasani walked over to the nearby bushes and intwined leaves in her fur. Trotting quietly now, she neared the cave and crouched. Her feet padded the ground and her claws went clik! clik! clik! on the cold ground of the cave. Dasani looked behind her, and watched as the rain started pouring out of the sky , and mercilously pounding and beating the poor, innocent ground. She could see the silhouette of the manens and the puppies, and neared them. She raised from her crouched position and hung her head, like a Despair. Mensii was the pup that caught her eye the most. She stared into his eyes, they showed so much sorrow and sadness. The puppy crawled away from Yami, nearing Dasani. Nononono! No... get back! Don
t draw attentio....... she stopped blabbering, and sat down with her maw hanging open and her eyes glued to Mensii. She lay down as if she would feed the puppies, and let Mensii curl up near her head, paws, and chest. The fur was like a blanket that protected Mensii from the cold rain.
