A blue brindle female padded through the snow. She was large, but not fat. It was her coat that made her look that way. The fluffy coat was built for the snow and northern terrain. Her orangey-chocolate brown eyes scanned the sea of white anxiously, wondering if there were any other manens around.

Miko was her name. She wasn't part of any pack, just a loner. She left her home pack due to the death of her first pup and how her ex-boyfriend had treated her. Miko sighed softly as she sat down, curling her fluffy tail around her front paws. The she-wolf then pointed her black nose skyward and gave a howl....

I looked around and saw her. I bounded over delighted to have found someone on this freezing ice lump. I howled happily. Then I jumped lightly over to her. "Who are you?" I asked. I then sat down and started taking the ice out from in between my toes, waiting for her answer.
My red coat gleaming I then asked "Oh did I scare you?" I asked winking. I then though I hope I did not scare her. I was always scaring manens when I leaped and ran over to them super fast, howling as I ran.

Miko quieted when she heard another howl. Her tail wagged happily when she saw the other manen. "My name is Miko. No, you didn't scare me.

"What's your name?[/Color]" Miko asked curiously, staring at the other's gorgeous red pelt. It reminded her of some of her relatives in her birth pack. Miko gave a small bark as she awaited an answer....[/Font][/Blockquote]

"My name is Honoo it means Earth." I say. Then I notice her looking at my fiery red pelt. "My pelt is kind of why I am named Honoo." I looked at her and asked "Are you here with anyone?" I though such a lovely manen must be with someone. "Are you here to look for someone?" I ask. Then I asked her "Are you cold hungry? I was in fact starving my tummy was hollow. 'I am also male." I say to prevent confusion.

"I am single to." I say as I look at her. "I came here to escape my old life, and find a mate to. "My old life was horrible." I say as I shudder. I then say "If you are hungry I can get some food for us." I say as my pelt appears on fire. I then say "If you want I can tell you about my old life." I say as I stand up.

Miko stood and stretched, giving herself enough time to think. This was a nice male, cute too. He seemed to be very caring and possibly the ideal mate. "Let us go down into the forest and find something. On the way you can tell me about yourself.

"Ok." I say smiling. "I used to be a trained killer." "My pack never cared about my feelings, but my best friend did." "We were always together, when I was to be the next killer no one ever cared, except my friend. "She is dead now, but before she died she said I should try to escape." "My birthpack used to have warriors that were used for war. My father was the Dragga of the pack, my mother was new to the pack. The only reason I left was because of my ex-mate and ex-friends. I also didn't want to be haunted by the memory of my stillborn first pup that I respectfull named Nero before I buried him.

"Uh huh." I say as we walk along. I then saw a rabbit and killed it so fast I looked like a blur. I then said "You had a still born huh, in my old pack we left the pups with out burying them." I say "Yup my pack was crappy, rude, disrespectful, murderous, and just down right scummy." I then sighed and asked her "Do you want some rabbit?" I then offer her some. Man I thought she is like a beautiful, wonderful angel.

"My ex-mate denied that it was his even though it was the spitting image of him. My ex-friends all sided with him saying that it wasn't his. They also tried to mutilate the body. They stopped messing with me after I mauled my ex-mate and his family. After that I left with my stillborn to bury it someplace safe.

"Wow." I say as I think Wow her pack was awful like mine. "Was your pack a pack of loners like mine?" I ask as I sat down and waited for her to answer. I then yawn and said. "Are you tired?" I then think At last someone who I can understand and understand me like my friend! I then though Man life is getting really blissful and awesome! I was for once enjoying my life instead of dreading it, and the next bloody killing that would have come. I had always hated my life because of the killing, I hated killing manens, I only killed when necessary.

Moments later, Miko returned and laid down with a small artic fox in her paws. She began to sink her teeth into it, ripping out a chunk and chewed at it thoughtfully. She swolled and said. "No, they were a well organized pack. Most of the members were my half siblings but there were a few that weren't related to us.

"Well my pack was really disorganized pack, there were a lot of power hungry manens in it." I then say "They would also look at a pup and say killer, or feeder etc sometimes they looked at a pup and they would take it away, when they came back they came back with the pups head!" "It was a very bloody horrible pack." I say with my eyes misty , as I remembered my old pack. "But now that is all in the past." I say brightly trying to cover up the pain in my voice.

Miko nodded, her muzzle stained with the fox's blood. "Yes, the pain is all in the past now. It's time to start a new life.
