I, Solitude walked to the shore of the hot springs and lapped up some water. Then I looked into the sky, hoping, hoping against hope, that Tameln would come back. I'm not called Solitude for nothing, but I miss you, Tameln. I whispered. This was all wishful thinking of course. Tameln was dead and gone forever. I sighed but suddenly started to brighten. I'd heard of pheonixes coming back from the dead - so why not achihonds? It might be possible, right? Then I visibly deflated and thought to myself, Wishful thinking again. I decided to just sit back and enjoy the sunset.

I, Loup hip hopped over to the spring. My mom had scolded me for going off to practice my flying. Now I was stuck with all the other Achihonds. My favorite place was the spring. I loved how the water would shoot out! Once I sat in the water and the water shot up! I went flying! It was awesome! Now I just wanted a quite place without my showoffy brother, Hunt. I ran full speed hoping maybe to catch some wind in my wings and fly a little. As I jumped I swerved a little too much and ooofff landed in front of a stranger. Hilow! I'm Loup! Who are you?

I turned to find a red and black achihond. Hello, Loup. I said, not sure why I was answering. I am called Solitude. I seemed to remember him from before...of course! He lloked exactly like Tameln, just more grown a little. If Tameln hadn't left, they could've been twins. Except that Tameln h\probably was better with herbs and other healing. Just then I heard a rumble from behind me. I turned to see the hot springs beginning to gyeser! But this has never happened before! I exclaimed, stupefied. Never except in the other achihond realm, when the sickness was comi-in... I tapered off, then quickly attemped to grab Loup's neck fluff to pull her ahead. We have to go! Quick!

I, Loup ran with Solitude. I didn't know why we were running, but it had to be something bad. Why are we running?! Now the springs geyser was shooting higher than ever. About 300ft! I thought about it as I ran, the geyser water was going to land on us no matter how fast we ran. But we could...FLY! I jumped up and awkwardly flapped my wings. I rose a little and then shot forward. I couldn't fly high yet, but I could go pretty fast. Hurry before It's too late!

[glow=red,2,300] +[/glow] It's the sickness! I panted and snapped open my wings. I rose into the air and shouted at Loup, Hurry! Try again to go higher! If we rise above the water we won't get infected! I ran over the facts in my mind. - The geyser was being caused by some sort of supernatural bacteria which could only affect achihonds.
- Tameln had been called away to help against this sickness in the other achihond realm and had become infected by it and died.
- This bacteria was aware of the world around it and would try to actually catch us, or rather, make us cach it.
That horryifying fact kept revibrating in my mind as I rose to 20 feet, 30, 40...I looked forward and was gratified to find that Loup was outside the water's shadow, although he hadn't escaped from the splash range ye-! Some of the water, infested with bacteria, had splashed against my leg. I gasped-it felt like acid-and my wings crumpled. I hurtled to the ground from 50 feet up!

{{Ahh sorry! }}
I, Loup tried with all my might to go higher. Just a bit higher! I tried to get closer to Solitude. Then I saw it. The water splashed him, he went down. Nooo! I zoomed down avoiding the violent wave rising, rising. I reached hir. I grabbed his wing and pulled up with all my might. But he was too heavy, I could hardly fly let alone go higher. The water was rising, soon it would crash on us. I was sinking, falling lower, and lower still. Would this be the end!

[glow=blue,1,300]<<ooc: Solitude is male, I think you thought he was female.>>[/glow] I felt a sharp pain in my wing and looked up to see Loup trying to pull me up. But I was too heavy, and, although he slowed down my progress, the earth was still rushing up to meet us. We landed wih a bump, and I rolled a few times, thinking that we were doomed even if I was saved from a painful slam into the ground. Then I smacked into the rock I had watched the sunset on, and an idea began to form... I jumped up and dragged Loup behind the rock, the oppoite side of the huge "wave". Hoping that my plan would work, I could only wait while the water rushed toward the huge rock. Then the water slammed into it and parted. I wached as the water rushed right over our heads and near our sides. Panting, I was relieved until a drop of water fell on my tongue. I spit it out- Ptooee!- and realized we were still not exactly safe. From most of the water's bulk, yes, but there was still those dangerous drops! And those drops, with those sentient bacteria, were aiming at us![/center]

{{lo oh sorry. Will edit}}
I, Loup crashed into the rock, nearly knocking me out. As I was dragged I thought the only thought that would come to mind. We're going to die!. Solitude's plan had worked but would we be safe for long. Are you okay? Will your wing work still? I questioned while dogged numerous drops of water flying at us time to time. One in particular hit my tail which immediately stopped quivering. I fell to the ground, tail screaming with pain. H-hoooow dooo w-w-wee st-stop it-it f-from HURTING! Now things didn't look too good.

I glanced around, it looked hopeless, what would we d- Wait! Why not dig a hole and barricade us in it? What did we have to lose? I began to dig as fast as I could, throwing the dirt to the side where we could use it to block later. Come on! Help me!

I, Loup struggled to pull myself up, wincing at the pain in my tail zapped. I vigorously started digging with Solitude. I bet my mum would freak if she knew what was happening I chuckled She is such a worry-wart, my mum I sighed Just wonder if I'll ever get to say anything to her ever again. This stupid water trying to kill us. I kept digging, our only chance for survival.

I listened absentmindedly to Loup, but I was really more focused on digging...digging...digging! The hole started to become bigger every second, now with Loup helping. But then I noticed one little- no, big- gap in my plan. The rock above us, our only protection, was starting to topple from the diminishment of the support where we were digging the hole!

I, Loup kept digging as fast as I could. Then I saw it. Solitude had spotted the rock. It was falling. Dig a little farther out if you can! I'll see if I can steady it! I ran over and kicked dirt on where it was falling. Then patted it with my tail. But it still was wobbly. Ah! I won't die today! And I was determined to make those words true. But now things were slim, and I proven false.

I would have continued digging, but I heard Loup's anguished cry, Ah! I won't die today! and spun around. Loup had done all he could, now it was my turn! I ran up to the weak point where the rock was falling and leaned my whole body against it, bracing it with all my strength. Loup, keep on digging! I'll hold this up as long as I can!

I, Loup ran to dig, my paws just mere flashes. It had become quite large now, at least 5ft deep and growing every second. Hey! Solitude! What if we put the rock over the hole! Then we'd be safe with at least some air! But first the hole had to be wider. I dug for about fifteenth minutes till I thought it was ready. I think it's big enough! Come on! try to bring the rock over here! Maybe If you stand it up right next to the hole and jump in, the rock with tumble and seal us up! Then we can move it from in here and make it fit perfectly! I waited for a response hoping my plan would work.

I liked Loup's plan but couldn't answer, it was taking all my energy to keep the rock from squashing me. I - NOT DONE! WILL MODIFY!
