I don't think it's worth it! Why can't it just be us? Why someone else? Uio trudged up the snow sprinkled ice chunk, complaining all the way. It wasn't the walking or the cut paws or the sleeping in freezing temperatures. No he could handle that no prob, it was the change. It had always been them, just them. And now they were growing up. Finding someone else, as if he wasn't all they needed. Like when they were small pups, constantly reminding him not to leave them, that they needed him. Now they needed someone else, and it wasn't fair.



Climbing the glacier, listening to his complaining. It was enough to drive Bee mad. Didn't he realize someday they had to part. They were growing up and family was over. They had to go they're own ways. Couldn't he see that. Couldn't he?


Beu trotted up with her two half siblings, listening to Uio going, on, and on. Bla, bla, bla. I mean seriously! Uio just please shut up! Were growing up can't you see that! You can follow along but you can't guide us forever! She'd probably hurt his feelings, but who cares? He was getting on her nerve and she was fed up with it. So Beu sat and howled the long low howl of anger and sadness. Why did everything have to change, but it was for the better right?

I raced with my two friends as Raven had heard and smelled manens. Lost saw them and we ran down to them spraying up lots of powdery snow. We howledon the top of a hill and then raced down. We stopped close to them and I said, "Hello it seems we have hit a lot of luck seeing travelling manens like ourselves." I looked at them and my eyes found themselves resting on a manen godess that was black, grey, and brown with a bronze bracelet, a pearl earring, and the most beautiful pink eyes that I was drawn to.She had howled that awful howl so I looked at her, but had to tear myself away from her eyes.

I had seen them and as soon as we saw them I knew that Exo liked the one with pink eyes. That was fine with me as I like the one with blue eyes. I could not stop gazing and soon snapped back to the present.

I was the trouble maker, but I was disapointed with the brute that stood in front of us. I pouted and sat down looking unhappy. He doesn't look fun at all! I thought angrily, the guys find their perfect girls, and I have no one! I would leave but I didn't want to leave my friends. I gazed unhappily at the snow as I waited to see what the party pooper would say.

Uio stood stock still, bubbling with furry. Why'd you do that! He hissed to angry to shout, Why'd you howl, it's not like we WANT others to find us! He was shaking now, and it nothing to do with the cold. Soon he heard pounding foot steps, the sound of newcomers, tracing the forgotten howl. Hurry run or they'll find us! Gosh you act if though you want to be completely stranded out here with no company. Loosen up Yeah really I just howled so what?
But any running was too late now, they were here. So Uio just stood in the back glaring at everyone. furious with everyone. So he didn't pay attention until he saw the two brute staring their puny little eyes at his sisters. What right did they have to sit mouths a hanging waiting for some fly to enter. Back off! You don't have any right to sit gawking at them! He was so mad even the darkest colors on his frost bitten coat were red. He saw the smaller fae frowning at him, so he turned his back to everyone. See how they like THAT!





Bee just sat there until her half sister finished her long howl. Then they got up and trotted over to where Uio was standing, she felt pretty good until she saw the look of pure madness on Uio's face. Why'd you do that! Why'd you howl, it''s not like we WANT others to find us!Gosh! She thought What's his problem! Gosh you act if though you want to be completely stranded out here with no company. Loosen up I mean what right did he have to yell at them. She was so mad she didn't talk till him until the others showed up. There were three and one was staring mouth open at her of all people. Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude. But who in the world are you?



Beu finished howling, it felt good to let something out. When he emotions were cooled she walked back to Uio with Bee. But what she saw was totally unexpected. Why'd you do that! Why'd you howl, it''s not like we WANT others to find us! Now she was boiling again, I mean come ON! Yeah really I just howled so what? AND NO! I'M NOT RUNNING! I'm STAYING RIGHT HERE With all her yelling she didn't realize the arrival of the three others. When she turned around she froze with shock, the only words she could get out were, Who the heck are you?!

I look at the male with pity in my blue eyes and say, "Hey do you hate company that much? I'm sorry I forgot to say my name how rude of me. I'm Exo, and we are looking at your sister because we have not seen a fae in a long time."

"I'm sorry I was staring like that." I say in my soft quiet voice, "It's just I have not seen a fae other then her." I say pointing my muzzel at Raven, "In such a long time. My name is Lost. I hope I have not offended you." I say to her.

I sat down and said to them, "My name is Raven. Geez why is your brother so mad. Are you a loner or something?" I snap to him and I turn to Exo and Lost with a sad expression and say, "Well I might leave soon since there are no brutes to my liking here." I say as I walk around then sit down looking with dissapointment at the brute.

He pointed at the fae called Raven, I didn't come here to find a stupid mate like these two He shoved his half sisters forward. I'm OUTA here! So he turned around and in the sprinkled powder.



As Uio started talking tears slowly crept down Bee's now hiccuping face. I thought you liked how me met! You were somewhat glad to what our father did! I thought you liked us! She screamed as she was shoved backwards then forwards. But if that's the way you feel, come on Exo. I'm leaving!


Beu wasn't as emotional as Beu, but this was way to far. She felt the rain drop like tears silently slide down her frozen face. Uio STOP it! You don't have to be like this! Just CALM down! But he didn't listen to her, she was pushed around until she too had enough. I agree with Bee this has gone WAY too far! I'm leaving with Lost! And I stomped off to where they were standing.

Exo looked at the other brute with disapproval and hearing Bee I said, "Don't worry Raven can go find him." I looked Raven and she snorted. I say to Bee, "Raven will find him and she has a way with manens. We should all stay together." I had to seize control and play leader right now, but I could fit the role.

I look at the male as he ran away, but I knew Raven would find him. "We should stick together." I say to Beu softly as I nudged her very gently back to Exo, Raven and Bee.

"What me?!" I say in anger as Exo picked me but I knew that I would go. I snorted and ran at a fast pace with my legs moving like pistons. I raced lightly to him, and I smelled to wind and with happiness knew I was up wind of him. I hid and waited until the right moment to show myself. I rolled a small snowball with my snout, and I rolled it on my snout, and lightly hit the ground next to him. I giggled and walked close but still a bit away from him and sat down. "Lighten up sour puss. You know your sisters would soon have to find mates. So you should let it slide because soon you will find one to. It doesn't mean that you can never see each other again." I waited for his reply, and my musclus rippled as I got them ready for chase if he ran again.

Uio trotted away, so mad he wouldn't be surprised if steam started pouring out of his ears. He had no clue that he was being followed. Even the fae called Raven were not up-wind he probably still had no clue she was there. He was so frustrated he wasn't paying attention to the smells or sounds, only to his anger. He didn't notice anything until a snowball almost hit him. Uio jumped to his feet, snarling like mad. Who's there?! Suddenly Raven came out and sat down.Lighten up sour puss. You know your sisters would soon have to find mates. So you should let it slide because soon you will find one to. It doesn't mean that you can never see each other again.Uio was so startled he listened to every word she said. Yeah I guess they have to grown up, like me. Uio sighed, But why so soon? I guess I can still se them, but it won't be the same. Not ever again. He looked into Ravens face, she had everything, didn't she? She didn't seem unhappy that her brothers were growing up, why couldn't he be like that? Why?

I knew he was probably thinking that those guys were my brothers so I said, "You are lucky to have sisters. Those guys are like my brothers, but I never had siblings or parents. It will be different but everyone has to grow up sooner or later. You should be glad that you have good memorious of them." I look at him and I didn't know the pain he was going through but I could try to help.

Uio stared dumbstruck at Raven. No siblings? Not even parents! I-I'm sorry, I just though..... His face was flushed, he ducked his head, what would life have been like without Bee and Beu? He did not want to imagine. Not at all. And it was true he and them and to grow up sooner or later. He now realized that. But where was he going to find a mate? This place was deserted. The only faes around were Bee and Beu. Or where they. Uio glanced up at Raven. NO! are you insane! He couldn't have been thinking what he just thought. Right?

I look at him and said, "Don't be sorry I'm glad I never had a family or I would never have met Exo and Lost, and we needed each other when we were little." I look at him as he looks quickly up, and I blush ever so lightly. I think why did my heart skip a beat now that he is better? I must be going crazy. "Who should go back to the others." I say in a soft voice as I turn to lead the way as I had kept track of where we were going.

Uio still felt sorry for Raven. I mean no family! He still couldn't believe it. But yet he did not press the subject farther. Though when she mentioned them needing each other when they were younger, Uio was painfully reminded of Bee and Beu. They had needed eachother, but look where they had ended up. Not so good, at all. He had apologize, he had to make it right. Uio couldn't have them stay mad with him forever. He couldn't bare it any longer. I have to go say sorry. I can't stand it. I hope they don't stay mad. I still need them, and In hope they need me. He again looked at the ground, his face red, thinking about what he was going to say. We probably should go together to see them, you know so the others don't get worried. His face so red he was embarrassed to look at Raven, so Uio stood up motioned for Raven to follow and trotted over in the direction of his half sisters. "Don't be embarrassed you are doing the right thing." Raven said in her soft voice as she noticed how red the brute's face had got. "Also don't worry Exo would have taken charge and they should still be there." I look at him wishing I clould help more, but I was held back by embarrassment. I felt the snow cruching and I could see Lost standing out like a sore thumb in the middle of a clearing. Thank goodness they are still there. I thought as we ran toward them. I also heard a long mournful howl. Thank you Exo! I silently thought as I howled back.

I knew I would stick out so I walked into the middle of the clearing so Raven could see me. I knew Exo would howl to her, so I knew everything would be fine and she would come to us. I bristled as I saw the other male running with her. I gave him a look of respect for coming back, but my look also challanged him and said if you hurt her I will show no mercy, but I'm fine with you right now.

I sat down and howled to her. My ears pricked as I heard her answer and saw her come running down with the other brute. I saw Lost give the other male that look and I nodded to Lost and to the other male showing him I still accepted him.

Uio charged back, seeing the other males he bristled but did no more. Hurt them, why would I hurt any of them? Those two are my sis's and Raven..... His face turned red, and quickly he turned to his half sisters. Look, you guys I'm so sorry. I was just startled by change, and I didn't want it to change. I reacted wrong, and I'm sorry. Will you forgive me? He hoped they would, Uio couldn't stand being without them. Or them staying mad with him, he just couldn't bear it.


Bee saw her brother coming up with that other fae, she thought her name was Raven. She shook her head, he was not going to treat her the way he had! No way! He was not aloud to push her around and yell at her, even is he was upset! If he thought he could he could do that, he had thought wrong! Bee turned her back on him like he had on her. Ignoring that he was even there. Bee I'm sorry, please forgive me. I was wrong to be mean to you, to treat you like that. I'm sorry, so sorry. Please, please forgive me! Will you please forgive me? I guess so. I'm mean only if you mean it. I mean it more than I've ever meant anything Then yeah I suppose I except your apology, Beu?


Beu had watched Uio come back. He had been wrong to treat her that way, but if he was to apologize, and he really meant it, she would forgive him. But if he was to go and puh her around again, she would fight him, even if he was her brother and she was only a fae. But she was ready to hear him out. Look, you guys I'm so sorry. I was just startled by change, and I didn't want it to change. I reacted wrong, and I'm sorry. Will you forgive me? Beu then watched Bee reject his apology and Uio try his best to comfort her Bee I'm sorry, please forgive me. I was wrong to be mean to you, to treat you like that. I'm sorry, so sorry. Please, please forgive me! Will you please forgive me? I guess so. I'm mean only if you mean it. I mean it more than I've ever meant anything Then yeah I suppose I except your apology, Beu? Yeah I guess I forgive you, but I think right now we should stick together, all of us. I motioned to Exo, Lost, and Raven. We didn't want to get suck alone in this blizzard.
