Aerokone and Yoko were born in Ribeyako, their father, Watache, was one of the wolves who trained those in flying school. Their mother, Anema, was a medical engineer. She was the one who created splints and the most difficult remedies, but despite her job Anema was not an especially kind wolf, and not a generous one. She demanded that her two young sons be taken to the Fortune Teller, who would look as far into their future as possible. This was the way that the wolves of Ribeyako discerned whether or not their puppies would have wings, which were a crucial part of life.
Ribeyako was a group of wolves, who lived high in the mountains. Their homes were etched into cliff faces, small caves and nooks. Their water came from melted snow, their food from eagles and elk who wandered the lonely heights. A wolf without wings in Ribeyako was like a camel without a hump, or a cheetah without legs. They were defenseless, and completely dependent on the others for food and company, as the only way to get up and down from the high cave-dens was by flying. The fortune teller determined Aerokone first, informing the nervous father and impassive mother that he would, indeed, have wings. She next examined Yoko, frowning in concentration as she picked over the near future. "This one," she said, "will have no wings. He will be able to influence the winds, but will be a prisoner of the ground for the rest of his life."
The next day, Anema took Yoko and Aerokone on their routine hunting practice, and in the middle took Yoko aside. Coldly, she told him that no son of hers would be wingless and remain to humiliate her. She told him to leave that night, and never come back. Yoko, stunned and ashamed, was silent and troubled for the rest of the routine. Aerokone noticed, waiting to ask his younger brother what was wrong until their mother was not watching. Yoko told Aero, who was furious. He yelled at Anema, and she was too shocked and angry to retort. She tried to stop Aero from leaving, but the furious puppy stomped out, Yoko in his tracks.
They wandered for several long months, growing little in their journeys. Their lineage showed in their build, they were both aerodynamic, lithe and fine-boned for easy flight. When they stumbled onto this Manen Grounds, the brothers were astounded. Highly pleased with themselves for finding a new place with wolves similar to themselves in it, Aero and Yoko continued to practice their unique fighting style, and are now looking for a tribe to join.

Deathwish was born Miku, in the zeftolen tribe. His mother was Toniko, the demoness of demona; her father was Akuma who presided there. She was weak after giving birth, being a petite wolf with little excess. (Toni was very lean and muscular, spending all of her time moving). Her mother, Sanuri strayed into the Zeftolen tribe three weeks after Miku was born. Sanuri had been seeking vengeance for a distraught childhood her entire life, and immediatly fought her mother; who was larger and stronger if not by much. The two wolves fought hard, and in the end it was Toni who got Sanuri's throat. However, the fight had been taxing, and it proved hours later, fatal for the demona-wolf. Miku had watched the fight, and at one point tried to intervene. Sanuri attacked him, calling him the son of the devil. For, it was true, Sanuri had never been with any wolf. She was virgin, yet she had a son.
Miku was thrown into the river, swelled by the ice from the glacier and ripped away into strange lands. He was tumbled until unconcious, becoming aware only when he hit the shore. Miku awoke there, and explored his surroundings. He was near a hot place, the waves of fiery warm rolled off of it in waves. Miku was drawn to it, in the sudden loneliness that he realized his mother was dead. In bitterness he renamed himself Deathwish, and entered the Demona to find Akuma, of whom his mother had spoken of.
