Moment is the darling of the pack, and has won the hearts of every female. His chosen mate is Finding, but she’s too shy to return his exaggerated shows of affection, and he often gets frustrated. He has been overindulged since a small pup for his good looks and charming personality, and has gained a reputation as a shameless flirt. His reluctance to choose a mate has antagonized many besotted females. He knows that Ethelwulf’s claimed fae is in love with him, and feels bad that she is bound to the arrogant brute, but he is too weak to help her because of his social status. His cockiness led to him impregnating his close friend Raz’s mate Kyte in the early season.

As a distant relative of Moment, Finding was brought up with him and she seemed the natural choice as his mate. As pups, prettier faes would laugh at their acquaintence and make her feel like he was above her league- so even now after blossoming into a beautiful adult she keeps away from him and the gang of faes at his side in public. Her feelings of inferiority seemed proved to her when Moment betrayed her with Kyte, and she's now keeping her distance even more while nursing a broken heart.

Sweet was one of the founding members of the pack and greatly respected, but after losing her mate Mitch she has reverted into her shell and become a grouchy fae- feared by the cubs and avoided by the adults. She and her similar looking son Battleground act as the defenders of the pack (although he has the official title, she jumps to help him at any sign of danger), and her frightening yellow eyes and sharp teeth scare off likely challengers/predators. Inside though, she's deeply maternal and protective of every wolf in the pack, being related closely to most of them! She often wonders how she's gone from being an exalted alpha to an excluded old fae. She currently has two pups from the alpha that replaced Mitch.
