A very troubled and tired vixen clumsily made her way down to the falls. Slipping and sliding as she went but trying to keep on her paw's. Her over swollen stomach rippled slightly and she fell to her paw's, but skidded down the little bump of a hill to lay next to the water side. Wincing in pain she tried to take her mine of it, numbing her brain by biting her tongue until it bled heavily.
+--------------------+
She gasped for breath, faintly cursing the wolf ho had put her threw so much pain. She looked down to the small pups, nosing her side, begging for her warm milk. Rolling onto her side slightly she nosed them toward her soft stomach and watched proudly. Placing her paw on a little brown pup with a black nose she whispered softly. "Moona, so you will always know you was born when the moon was full." She smiled softly and placed her paw on another brown pup, this time with a pink nose and whispered. "Yuki, so you will always know you're grandfather is beside you" A little grin placed on her muzzle for a second she placed her paw on the pure white puppy with a black orb and whispered. "Komea, After the great white wolf who without, i would be dead" A faint smile curved on her lips as she placed her paw on the small white puppy with cream legs and whispered. "Sashinu, So you will be guarded by the great wolf god" Finally she placed her paw on the last pup. A small black one, probably the runt, she looked the like her father. "Salsa, So there with be a rhythmic beat in you're heart that will not let you wonder into the paths of you're father." With this she looked up to the pitch black night sky and frowned scornfully, flicking her tail over her five pups protectively.
(Names - Moona, because of the Moon, Yuki was her grandfathers name, Komea was a wolf who helped her escape her mothers torment, Sashinu, the wolf god who her tribe believed in and Salsa, a 'tainted' dance. )

The moon was full overhead; it blazed with a vicious white light that belonged to the wolves. Kisha smiled, a tight-lipped, toothy grimace. She would make sure always that those in her tribe understood the nature of the moon and of the wolves, that they understood the importance of this bond. Her steel-gray wings spread wide as it to embrace; and the fatale gently swooped away from the cliff. From below she may have looked as though the drifting grace came as easily as it came to a leaf fluttering from a tree. This was not true; Kisha was not endowed with any particular flying talent; she had to work for it. Even after this work she was still slightly unbalanced, and had to pay attention every moment to keep aloft. Her generously muscular frame did not help matters. The weight was difficult to balance.
Sky-blue eyes scanned her new lands, whipping over the falls. Something caught her gaze, though, a pale figure by the water turned pearly by the moonlight. She banked gently, turning slowly towards the ground and alighting rigidly several yards away. She tried to smile disarmingly, when she saw the fae had pups. She would not like to upset her, it would not do. Kisha wanted to be understanding; besides she had always wanted to know pups.
She padded until she was only a short distance away, then dropped an elegant leg to bow.
Hello, stranger.

The vixen let out a small, low warning growl as company was drawn to her attention. the birthing had made her too weak and she hardly had any energy left, but she would die to save her pup', even if they would die without her. Brindled Gray pelt started to rise slowly and she spread out her wing's, trying to make herself look bigger then she was, well...at least she was trying. Though she sensed by how the vixen moved and acted that the Gray brindle did not mean to harm her young. Slowly letting her wings droop and tuck themselves on her back, but could help her hackles still raised. "Hello." She spoke in a soft but tired voice, as if all the life had been drained from her. Drawing herself around her five pups that had been the after affect of him she hid them from the vixen, afraid they would be stolen.

The alpha winced at the other femme's obvious distrust, feeling her anger rear at the defensive movements of the mother. But Kisha forced it back down, soothing herself with the truth. This was a new mother, with newborn pups. She was weak and defenseless, probably, and exhausted. Would Kisha not act the same? With this realization calming her anger, the steel-hued fem smiled in sympathy. That the other fem covered her pups with her wings did not rumple her demeanor much.
My name is Kisha, I would like to welcome you to the Mleenleg tribe grounds. Her words were calm and quiet, devoid of her usual blunt loudness. She seemed to think for a moment, then continued. Your pups are safe here, ma'am, I will not hurt them or steal them. She smiled slightly, trying not to flash her fangs. She knew how unsettling they could be.

Slowly starting to trust this vixen a little more she dipped her head a little. "My mother blessed me Clear" or, so she thought her mother had dubbed her was Clear, but her mothers torment had caused her to forget her real name. Slowly she uncurled herself from her five scraps of fur she looked down at them with a small gleam of pride, tipping her head to the side slightly to admire them with half closed eyes.

Kisha smile strengthened at the wolf's--at Clear's--acceptance of the friendly gesture. Feeling the tense medium begin to dissolve into a more trusting attitude, she nodded towards the young pups and honestly stated her thoughts. They are very beautiful, you are lucky. Her deeply blue eyes met the fem's orange ones, sharing a warm link. With a vague start Kisha realized that Clear was the first wolf she had met in her new lands. Niloufer had yet to show her face; but Kisha was not worried about her younger sister. Nile had always been able to take care of herself, chances were she was wandering around admiring the opposite sex. Kisha felt content; life was very good here.
Her eyes had wandered staring of into space. In no great rush the fem readjusted them to the other, smiling again where her expression had gone slack. Pardon me; I was thinking of my sister. She sank to her haunches, wings folding themselves neatly onto her back.

Clear smiled softly and tried to pull herself up a little, but had no energy left. "Thats ok. Would you like to meet them?" She asked slowly, picking her words carefully an hoping this vixen was not just trying to gain her trust to take her pups. Pulling her tail away from her pups who immediately whimpered at the cold.
Watching them she slowly bent down to a little to nuzzle there heads up to face her, even though they whimpered loudly in protest, wanting to suckle once again. Hushing them slowly she nuzzled there ears and rasped her tongue in a long, fluid motion other each there heads.

Kisha blninked in suprise, then smiled beautifully. She had never before seen puppies so young; Niloufer and she had not been part of a pack in a long time. It was not very often that one came across puppies on dangerous and little-traveled roads. At least when they chose to walk; most often the sisters flew for it was faster and Kisha needed the practice as often as she could get it.
May I? I've never really seen puppies before, they're so beautiful. She padded a little bit closer before settling down again, careful not to crowd Clear. Her eyes were smiling, bright blue orbs full of warmth.
What are their names?

"Oh cause you can" She told her softly and wrapped her tail just along there small rumps and over there tails and looking at the first pup she had named. "This is Moona, my firstborn." She rasped her tongue over the brown pups head and nuzzled her muzzle so Kisha could see her face. "And this is Yuki" She rested her nose over the male brown pups scruff leading to him tilting his head back happily. "This is Komea" She pressed her nose against the small pure white pups pink nose and smiled softly "And Sashinu" She grinned proudly a the white and cream put and licked the small pups cheek. "And Salsa, my last born" She gazed at the black pup thoughtfully but did not attempt to lean down and muzzle the ebony puppy like she had the others.

The young steel-brindled amre's maw split into a smile of delight. She giggled girlishly, tilting her dial slightly and letting the laughter bubble out. This was unlike the alpha she would later be; an iron-fisted, strict beast. But that wasn't Kisha. Kisha was nice and good-natured and careful if not as passionate or loving as her sister Niloufer. They're so adorable!
Kisha watched the puppies' faces as their mother nuzzled them. This wolf would be a wonderful mother, Kisha had no doubt about that. She could also understand why she had left her mate--if that was what she had done. It made the young wolf wonder though, curiosity prickling at her. Why didn't the puppies have a father?

The vixen gazed at her puppy's for a long time before curling her tail back over the newborns and looked up at the stars with suddenly tired eyes before abruptly muttering "Will i be safe here?"
She turned her worried amber gaze back to Kisha and a sudden doubt fit her stomach. Her wings ruffled at the thought of how exposed she was here, yet how hard it would be to move her litter to somewhere more sheltered. The amount of thoughts that whirled around her head made her dizzy and sick with worry and she felt like she could retch, but there would be nothing to come up for she hadn't eaten in days now. Her breath was hot, not warm but hot, like you get when you are ill, and she raised her wings to pull over her puppy's that were starting to whimper with cold, complaining gently to there mother.
