You find them H E R E
Honiahakas are another of the featured species at SOTM. I am working on a jewels and traits list for them and that will be posted later. The link mainly describes about them, but here is some extra features:
Their history:
Just recently settlers have been setting up a township near the Manen Wolf lands so that they may capture them and sell off their fur and jewels to make money. Along with them they brought many different kinds of dogs, one being the Honiahaka. They were an indian-type dog the settlers stole from the Native Americans because of their strengths. Like the indians did the settlers dressed the dogs in feathers, necklaces, and bracelets to represent their abilities. A group of rebel Manens didn't want the humans there so they used fire to burn down many of the homes, forcing the men to flee. They were cruel however because they left their faithful dogs behind to the blaze, where they were either burned or killed by the Manens. The only ones that survived were the Honiahakas, living alone in their own lands of forests. Honiahaka mothers dress their children in jewels to represent their abilities just like their owners did long ago.

- They must stay on their own lands
- No crossing into other lands (unless you really want to get hurt o.0)
- Breeding between species is allowed; but both pups and parents will be outcasts, not accepted anywhere and will have to live on their own as loners.

HONIAHAKA JEWEL DESCRIPTIONS
BRACELETS
Leather Bracelet - Mainly Dependent on others
Bronze Bracelet - Sometimes dependant on others, sometimes relies on themselves
Silver Bracelet - Relies on self for survival
Gold Bracelet - Relies on self and has a good instinct; a good trait for a leader to have
~If your Honiahaka has a leather bracelet, then they are very submissive. They rely upon the other members of the pack for survival and have low rankings.
~If your Honiahaka bears bronze then they are in between. They try to act aggressive but they are actually more dependant on the other wolves than on their own.
~Silver bearers are experts at survival, able to live for a very long time by themselves or during famine. Some are aggressive though so watch out…
~If your Honiahaka wears a gold bracelet then consider yourself lucky - this is a good trait among leaders! They can survive well (sometimes not at well as silver-wearers) and they have good instincts, which means they can sense trouble (and prey) a mile away.
STUDS
Leather Stud - Cautious and Weak
Bronze Stud - Boastful and full of Pride
Silver Stud - Strong Willed and Stubborn
Gold Stud - Wise and mindful of others opinions
~Leather studs represent those who are cautious about others and other things. Usually it also means the wearer is weak in strength, wisdom, or agility.
~Bronze studs are placed upon those who are glorified in themselves. They boast often and are very prideful. They can sometimes have a streak of stupidity as well, but this is uncommon.
~Silver studs are those who don’t give up easily. When they set their minds to something they won’t change it, no matter what. They are also stubborn in may ways.
~Gold stud wearers are very wise and should answer all questions to their fullest of knowledge. This is also a good trait for leaders. They are also quite mindful of others when they speak up and express their opinions.

White with gray tip - Good at listening but not very wise

Tan with red tip - Quiet; sometimes shy

Green with white tip - Sneaky and crafty
~White feathers with black tips are those who are curious and ask a lot of questions. They are usually cowardly as well, hiding or fleeing when they are threatened.
~Those with red feathers that have black tips are shrouded in mystery; they are also usually dogs that cause a lot of mischief and sorrow. They are feared amongst mainly the lower ranks. A wise leader puts this dog at charge of the lower ranking forces so that there are better results from them.
~Honiahakas that have a feather with blue and a black tip are calm and quiet dogs, also a bit naïve. They are unfazed by battles between their packs and remain peaceful.
~Gray feathers with black tips are those that are very sentimental. They are saddened easily, and rest the other dogs burdens on themselves.
~If you see a Honiahaka that travels a lot and is very excited when someone new comes around, you know for sure they have a tan feather with a black tip. They are the ones often sent as messengers to other packs because they love to travel so much and know more about their surroundings than most others do.
~There are Honiahakas that are willing to take up arms right away when there is a war and put their own lives on the line for someone else. These are the ones that bear the green feather with a black tip. These dogs love to go on adventures as well, and if they can’t they spend a lot of time exploring.
~Black feathers with white tips are bore upon those who are powerful, clever and can get out of any situation with the results they see fit, and sometimes can be evil. They steal and can usually get away with it, blaming it on someone else - with success.
~Honiahaka mothers place red feathers on their offspring who are strong fighters. Each one has a different ability - they can either fight a while without tiring, specialize in swift killing strokes, able to figure out their opponent’s weaknesses - these are only just a few. These dogs are commonly seen at the front of the pack during a hunt. Thought they may sometimes be a bit evil.
~Those with red feathers and gray tips are also experts at fighting though they have two abilities instead of one - one of which is not optional. They are very clever, able to trick their opponents into doing things for them or making them walk right into traps without them knowing. Unlike red feathers though these dogs are almost never evil.
~Dark Honiahakas that keep many secrets that will probably never be told bear black feathers. These Honiahakas are troubled by a lot of things, but unlike gray feathers with black tips they do not carry everyone else’s burdens.
~Gray feathers…let’s just say they don’t have many friends ok? They are mainly lonely because of their attitudes towards things and also because they always say “I have a secret and I’m not going to tell you what it is,” which is annoying to most of the other dogs.
~Honiahakas worried sick about the world and always telling others what should be right around the place are bore gray feathers with red tips. These dogs are constantly telling other what they think is right and are very much so considered control-freaks. They also are good at protecting themselves if someone decides to attack.
~Gray feathers with white tips aren’t the best listeners in the world so don’t start up a long story with them or they will fall asleep! They are very wise however and are respected for that so they have high ranks in the pack.
~White feathers are very special. Like Manens and the brown stud w/ gold hoop you are highly respected for a white feather. If it is with a golden stud then the Honiahakas are sacred. If there are gold bracelets on either front feet then it is double the sacredness. (If on any of the back feet it doesn’t count.) If there are both bracelets, the stud and the feather then the dog is like a god and are treated so by even the alpha in the pack. If all that plus first generation, then it is one of the legendary Honiahakas that survived the fire and helped build the settlement of packs for Honiahakas to live free in the wild!
~Any pup that loves warmer climates and listens to others very well gets the green feather with red tip. It is a macaw (parrot) feather from the tropical climates which the dog loves and takes care of. The Honiahaka listens to long stories without falling asleep, unlike others…
~Honiahakas that wear green feathers are energetic and very excitable dogs. They too love warmer climates, though they also prefer wetter climates as well, where it rains most of the time. You mainly see them in the tropical forest.
~Some of the most favored in a pack are those with a blue feather and white tip. These dogs are courageous and have the strength to back it up as well. They are not afraid of anything. They like to keep things peaceful around their home, and they also try to prove themselves worthy of a higher title often. These dogs are rare however, as rare as those with white feathers, gold studs, 2 gold bracelets, and being first generation. This feather was made in honor of a legendary Honiahaka who gave his life for the future of the wild Honiahakas, back when the settlers arrived.
~White feathers with gray tips are exactly the opposite of gray feathers with white tips! They are very good listeners, but are not the brightest bulb when it comes to wisdom…
~Honiahakas with a black feather and a gray tip are mainly evil and feared by most. They are very powerful dogs and are cunning too. Sometimes even alphas are afraid of them!
~If you see a Honiahaka that wears a blue feather with a gray tip, then they are good mannered. They carry out orders like they are told and know their place in the pack. Usually they are found in the mid status.
~Blue feathers with red tips mean that they are very authorative and perfer to be the one to give out orders. They like to be right and also don't like to see their orders broken.
~Tan feathers with red tips are usually quiet dogs. Sometimes they can be shy around new members though, and they don't speak up often.
~Any Honiahaka that loves hot things - the sun, fire, deserts, etc. - will have the orange feather with red tip. These are Honiahakas that know how to start fires and how to control them properly. (This feather was actually a memorial to one of the ancient Honiahakas that had the ability to create fire.)
~Honiahakas with green feathers with white tips are ingenious, crafty, and disguiseable. They are very smart dogs and they know how to get out of tricky situations. Cunning and careful, they can sneak past anyone with expertise.
