I, Zwilling ran. Ran to safety, ran to shelter. I had noticed a large cave out in the open and hadn't given a second thought to what the cave might hold. I really didn't care. As long as it didn't hold my father I didn't mind. My father.... That dark traitor! A lousy excuse for a wolf! He betrayed mother and sis! He betrayed the pack and the leader! Worst of all the betrayed me. He had been power thirsty. Not let a single thing get in his way. He wanted to become leader. He didn't care if the whole back hated him, as long as they obeyed and did as they were told they could have their feelings. He didn't care that his family might die. That his daughters would suffer and mate would pay the price. He wanted power. I thought back to the day before. The bloodshed and betrayal. A single silver tear slid down my face. Father had killed the leader Zingon. He had slain him in front of the whole pack. He slayed him to show what would happen if anyone had dared stand in his way. That's when the fight started. At the end only I remained. The Machtig <Mighty in dutch> Tribe no longer remained. I, Zwilling sat by the cave the moon high in the sky. I turned my head to the stars and howled for my lost family, who would never return......

Stop shivvering and drag your scrawny hide in here. Aseiph said briskly; her brilliant coat brown-white because of the pounding snow. The cave she and her pack resided in was very large, therefore it inhabited a couple less then a dozen wolves, mostly all of them sharing tongues. They bowed their heads in respect to their leader. Hello, Aseipha. said a black buff brute <nice alliteration>. Hello, Crusade. How's Tyuff doing? she asked with a hint of curiosity. She almost forgot about the small thing she had found huddled outside the den. Oh, Cru. I found this poor creature outside of the den. He seems rather thin and lanky. We need all of our wolves pepped up and strong for the coming storm, and every wolf counts. Crusade dipped his head in unfortunate agreement. Not at the fact they needed strong wolves, the wolves in the Zeftolen were usually always strong and ready. It was the storm. I will see to it that December gets on it. Shes leading prey patrol right now. Crusade mumbled. Don't have December tend to your every need. Shes not your slave. Besides, your the Alpha. You can go find food for this poor thing. Now back to my main question. How is Tyuff? She is recovering nicely from the loner attack. Small thing nearly died. Aseiph nodded. Her mate was strong and kind, but sometimes he made things more difficult then needed. She sighed, and not trusting Crusade, took the puppy to the pile of kill.

I, Zwilling followed the large manen. I was wary but once she showed me to the food I no longer thought about it. As I ravenously gulped down bits of rabbit I looked around to see what this place was like. Where-where am I? It looked nice and warm but you never know what might be waiting....

<ooc : do you mind if she changes your name? >"Think about it. You're in the Zeftolen Tribe den." she said, carefully chewing off the wings of a pigeon. "You've probably only tasted rabbit in your life I suppose. In this tribe you will taste many kinds of prey." she pushed her pigeon towards Zwilling. "You are still a puppy, and me being Alphaess, I cannot care for you little one. Come with me and bring a salmon for your new mother." She led Zwilling through a narrow path of dirt and reeds, when they emerged from a large opening to see about three femmes huddled together in a corner. As usual, Faren was alone in her own corner, resting her head on tired shoulders. She lifted her head in surprise as Aseipha continued on with the small puppy following her like a lamb and its mother. Aseipha looked at Faren and she immediatly got up, Faren walking with her head up and her back straight. "This is Faren, your new er.. mother. She is a skilled hunter, and she can teach you how to walk proudly even if you've lost a battle. She will take you hunting once she feels you are ready." Aseipha dropped the salmon and nudged it towards Faren, who nodded respectively. The three other femmes laughed and looked at her, looking away grinning. She gets the reject! one of the femmes said. Faren turned her head, curling her lip to a snarl. Faren then opened her maw and exposed the pearly teeth that inhabited it. She shut her maw, giving them one last warning with a low growl. "Come with me." she said with a voice like silk. She lay down in a corner, beckoning the small creature to come to her. "Its alright, its okay."

{{Don;t mind}}
I, Zwilling stood by the leader like manen I guess I have only eaten a bird once or twice. Rabbit all the other times. I followed her into the corner New mother? Why do I want a new mother Then I thought about it. I did not know how to hunt or fight and my new mother could teach me. As the leader-like-manen showed me to my new mother I heard one of the other manens whisper She gets the reject! I'M NOT A REJECT! I screamed. With that I dashed away with Faren.

Faren curled her paw over Zwilling, and pulled him to her side. "A good warrior must never lose temper with the inexperienced in the tribe. They do not understand the ways. And last but not least," she turned an icy cold gaze to the three femmes who immediatley stopped muttering. "Last but not least, this strong puppy is not a reject, only my pup who I will raise affectiontly and he will become a great warrior learning from me." she spoke coolly, with a hint of strictness in her voice. She rest her head on her paws gently and curled her child with her large tail, cuffing him with her paw and guiding him towards her. "If you do not accept the name, I will pick another one, but I would like to call you.." she hesitated a moment. "I would like to name you--- what the hell..." she growled slightly, sniffing the air. She turned her head to the three vixens. "Get up, and grab your puppies now." she spoke with sterness and seriousness as the three femmes had their smiles wiped off their faces. "Hurry up now, we don't have all day.." smoke started filling the cave. "In fact we barely have any time!" she grabbed her puppy by the scruff and ran out, flickering her tail now and then and turning her head to see if the femmes were following. She held her coughs in, not allowing herself to drop her puppy. Crusade ran out with Tyuff in his mouth, and he immediatly ran behind to help direct the femmes. They ran out into the clearing with the other zeftolen wolves sitting and nervously whining. Aseipha was pacing back and forth uneasily. Faren dropped Zwilling and ran without a word back in. Her lifelong friend was in there. She bolted through the winding passageways and grabbed a large brute by the scruff, throwing him over her back and running. She ran without hesitation and into the clearing with the other wolves wide-eyed. "Stop staring at me, wheres Sankuto?!" a large snow-pelted femme walked nervousley from the bushes. She grabbed some herbs from the side and made Brimstone <so cheesy rofl> chew them. He awoke, coughing and vomiting. Sankuto whined quietly and carried Brimstone towards a bush, where she treated him further. Aseiph whined and howled, then continued to pace uneasily. A large brindled femme emerged from the dense foliage. "They're coming.." she barked. Aseiph barked loudly over all of the frusteration, barking, and whining there was. "Our only hope is to run from the fire, and away from the outcasts. They are coming and we have too much to lose! I want Crusade, Nizaki, and Star to go behind and direct them. Me, Sankuto, and Faren will lead the way. I want no stops, no whining, and no barking. We must travel swiftly and fast if we are to make the journey. We are going to Larasopu, which means we must travel through the Tailmeln. We have to be nimble and swift if we are to continue without any member losses. Head on!" Faren looked ahead with uneasiness in her eyes. The Tailmeln was pretty much deserted, but what if? Sankuto shared the same uneasiness. They did not reject orders, and continued on with a large pack of wolves behind them.

{{ Zwilling's a girl. Just kinda seems like you think shes a boy.}}
I, Zwilling ran to catch up to Faren. I too could smell the smoke, but unlike them I didn't know what it was. I had never smelled smoke before. But my instinct told me that something was wrong. As I listened I caught the word fire. Fire! I had heard this! My mom had told me about fire before! It was a dangerous red things that burned everything it touched. Faren, what do we do? Is this fire? I could tell by the look in her eye that I was probably right. And what were you going to name me? Do I get a new name? But Faren wasn't listening so I kept my mouth shut and followed in line.

< lol i thought zwilling was a boy xD >
Faren nodded. "I will tell you when we get there. For now, get back in line with the other pups.". She hurried on toward the others, the pack moving swiftly. Everyone was moving in a direct one-two movement. Heavy gray clouds huddled near the sun, blocking out its light. The breeze quickly turned into hard wind, and rain poured down. The trees quietly whispered "Run.. run.." and Aseipha addressed the tribe. "Move into a canter!". Immediatly, all the wolves ran quickly towards the tailmeln borderline. Thunder roared violently, and the wind got severer.

{{Haha. daughters}}
I, Zwilling obeyed Faren and went to the back where I stood quietly. I heard other pups snicker but I remembered what Faren had said and held my temper. As we ran the wind blew at my sides, rain poured and soaked my coat. I was cold and scared but wouldn't let the other pups know. Boom! thunder shook the ground. Wind whistled and rain splattered the ground. This storm kept getting bigger and bigger. Soon the wind was blowing so hard I felt it hard to stay on the ground. If we didn't find shelter soon the storm would literally blow us away.

Hraka on this wind!* I, Reality, cursed, thinking hateful thought at the sky and the snow falling from it. I glanced back at my pack behind me and was relieved to find all the members still there. I wouldn't be surprised to find that one had wandered off, but it hadn't happened, and we pressed ahead for shelter. My mate, Wispe, eyed me worriedly, as scared for the pack as I was. I suddenly saw the magnificent coat of a manen flash out of the snow in front of me. My thoughts flashed back to Flay for a second, a mysterious manen I had seen once and never again. Then I concentrated on the problem again, to see if I could ask shelter from the manen in front of me. I cleared my throat. Excuse me, miss, do you happen to know where we can hide from the storm?
<<ooc: *A reminder, hraka means excrement. It's part of the language I partially invented for Flay and the Fatal Pack. I said partially, by which i mean I did not make up a whole language, but not that someone helped me make it.>>

I, Zwilling followed in line. Faren! Faren I think I see someon- I stopped in mid sentence as a large brute stepped in front of me. I did not look at him but instead said, Who are you? Excuse me, miss, do you happen to know where we can hide from the storm? he asked. No, sorry I do not. We are looking for that too. The wind blew my fur and I shivered. If you want you may ask my new pack leader. That's when I looked at him and gasped. He looked like my father. St-st-stay away! I screamed You betrayed me! You lied! You killed mother and sis! You slayed Zingon! My own father! You-you. The wind knocked me over. I hit my head on a tree stumped. Then everything went black...

<<ooc: pic coming soon. About the "wind" pick above, that took some catnip and some Paint cutting-and-pasting.>>
I recoiled, startled from the accusations the pup had hurtled at me. As far as I knew, I hadn't had any pups, and gentle Wispe was my only mate - and, of course, alive. And I didn't know this Zingon. My pack was just a bunch of loners, gathered together by me to form a small, but friendly, group. Except for that Uvero, nothing seemed to ever satisfy him. Another gasp of wind hurtled toward us, clearing the snow for a minute. I saw the pup get bowled over into the tree stump, and heard Wispe's startled gasp behind me. She ran up and grabbed the pup...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ran up and grabbed the poor puppy gently. I could tell Reality was surprised from something she said, although the wind had whirled the words past me before I could hear what. Checking he pup over, I was relieved to find that nothing too harmful had happened, although she had had quite a bump. Carrying her over to her mother (or maybe not, I did not know), I mumbled through her fur, Pardon me, but your pup- when the lump of fur limply hanging from my mouth began to stir. Or was it my imagination?
I, Zwlling stirred. I was dangling and someone was holding me. Mom? Mom! Mom is that you! She let me go and I jumped to the ground. My head throbbed, but so what? My mom was here! Mommy! Then I looked up and my heart sank. It's not-not you! I sobbed. Mom was still gone, but dad how?! You! I screamed at the black manen, whom I thought was father. How could you! You-you mated another manen! But what aboout mommy! Didn't you love her! But NO! You-you-you wouldn't have done what you did! What about sis! You killed your own daughter! Sissy! Mommy! And YOU! You-you MONSTER! I backed up. I thought you loved me.... Your own daughter.....
I was again startled for a second, before I began to be annoyed. Now look here, I said, I'm not even the same breed as you.* Wispe is my first mate, and we haven't had any pups yet. Then I nudged her gently, remembering something. Although your story is similar to mine. I had a cruel father, he looked like me except with brown eyes**. I think he was a non-manen, at least he had no jewelry, no wings, no horns, like me, but I can't be certain. Anyways, he acted nice at first, or at least my mother said, but he killed her and tried to kill me when I turned 5 months old. Both of us ran away. Although my mother died a while later, he'd hurt her enough for that to happen. I was sad then, I shrugged, but that was a while ago, and I got over it. I had to to stay alive. Wispe nodded, remembering the time I had told her all this. I'm a nomad-pack leader now, but was a loner until I met a bunch of others and gathered them together. Saying all this, I forgot about the storm, but the facts hit me in the face as soon as my mind returned to the present. I ran up to the manen I assumed to be pack leader, one with a brown coat. Excuse me, may my pack seek shelter with your tribe for the storm?
[glow=blue,3,300]~~~~~~~~~~~[/glow]
I, Wispe, stayed behind of Reality, in front of the pack but behind him, to keep company to the puppy. Maybe she would be more accepting to me, if Reality looked like her cruel father. Although I knew he couldn't be, he was still too young to be interested in mating when we had first met as loners.
[glow=blue,3,300]<<ooc: So, what I set up is that if Mac, reply to Reality, and Yami, reply to Wispe.
*True! I modified the manen wolf breed to create a NonManen Wolf, basically all the color variation but never any jewelry, horns, wings, etc. **Eyes like Zwilling. I'm trying to make it sound like Reality is her half-brother.>>[/glow]
I, Zwilling sniffled, I'm sorry I squeaked. It's just that you look so much like him. I inched towards Whispe. Then I grasped what he said. Brown eyes... I have brown eyes. My mother had green eyes. I got my brown eyes from my father! Umm Reality was your fathers name Zlý from the Machtig Tribe? I waited for a response now snuggled in Whispe's fur, as close to my mother as I had been in ages.
