My cat, Black Jack, just gave birth ^^ At around 7 AM EST she began crying and rubbing against my Yorkie mix Sonnic. Then my grandmother picked her up and she began giving birth. My brothers were awake and on the lap top, I was still about half asleep. My grandfather came in and said "Your cat is having babies." My brothers and I screeched at the same time "WHAT?!" and we raced out of the room and over to my green leather sofa.
All in all, she had 4 babies, they have tabby tiger markings but you can barely see them because they're all black. We're unsure of genders but when I get pictures I will post them.
EDIT: This pic is from 2/7/09
They have gotten bigger, and fatter. I know it's hard to see them, I'll try and get individual pix soon. But the mostly black one [Mine, I'm naming it Rogue after my Manen Wolf] is quite the little bully and noise maker. He/She is also the biggest  |

I know. It's still sinking in too cuz we haven't buried him yet. So he's in his with his brother and sisters until my grandmother gets home. It still upsets me because this is my very first litter of kittens that I helped birth, they're really special to me...He didn't even get to see his mother or siblings or hear his name... |

Just think; If Black Jack has any more kittens in the future; or her kittens have kittens in the future; you can dedicate them to the one you lost.
I bet my Siamese, Nickey Blue Eyes will take care of him :3

Aw, I'm sorry...would love a kitty but my 8 month (not week) puppy wouldn't understand she's "fragile" and would play her to death.

We're prolly gunna get BJ and the kittens fixed. But then again I want Rogue to have at least one litter before I get her [Yeah, turns out my kitten's a girl ] fixed. She prolly gunna be a little scrapper cuz she's so big. |

In a little bit, when I have someone to hold the kitten, I'm gunna get individual pix and then maybe a group pic. They all have names: Mine is named Rogue, Eli's named his Junior, and Gabe named his Tigger. |

Wow... They're absolutely adorable! I love kittens, but the closest thing I have is my seven-year-old kitten Libby ~_^ I'm sorry about the runt  At least Chesire had a happy entrance to life. And I looove Rogue =D She's the cutest. *pokes* You have to get more pictuuuuures! |
