I turn my head to the east, I see nobody by my side I turn my head to the west, still nobody in sight So I turn my head to the north, swallow that pill called pride The old me's dead and gone but the new me will be alright - T.I + J.T - Dead and Gone
Crisp, still winter air wafted slowly over the Tailmeln grounds, through the small grove of caramel colored ancient willow tree's. Lailac gently lowered herself onto white tiger-pelted haunches. This promontory was her favorite spot; it had the cleanest, crispest air; and the view over the giant crystal blue body of water seemed like it never ended. She smiled, gently scratching her black, pointed ears. These old grounds seemed to be empty, but instead of claiming the large territory, she enjoyed the stillness; the quietness of this. Pack's were just large groups of wolves who constantly killed, fought, and argued. And being a loner offered many more possibilities. Overriding the silence, a large rustle in the grove caused Lailac to investigate. An almost silver shadow illuminated the dark green foliage. The dark, swift individual darted behind the larger tree's and bushes continuously to avoid being seen. Lailac backed up cautiously. "Its alright, really. I wish to inflict no pain on you."
She sat down once more, scratched her ear, and smiled warmly. Her tail beckoned for the stranger to come forward.
