A large, flame colored brute walked these lands. Every now and then he would stop, sniff the air, and move forward. He was on a mission, a quest, something he dared not to fail. He leader was his life, he was born to be loyal and follow.
Aloi this manen was called. He was quite clever, and knew much about the world, but not all. Aloi came from a larger pack, bred into a cruel world. His mother taught him to be strong, and hoping that he would come to no harm with their leader, she sent him into the pack's large group of protectors. His mission? He would rather not tell, and that is what he did. Only he and his master knew of it.
CRACK! Who goes there? Aloi snarled, ears pinned back far against his head, and turned around to face his follower.

Kara froze in her tracks. Her fur was clumped and full of brambles. She was small and thin, lack of food made that clear. She was still young, but was over puppy hood. Her jet black pelt and dusty gray legs stuck out in the morning sun. Her ears pressed against her head in fright her tail tuck between her legs she duck head low and tried to snarl in her most frightening voice, Go now! L-leave this place, i-it's mine! This is m-m-my spot But her voice quavered and words came out stuttered. One could tell she was frightened out of her mind, this stranger was big and well fed, she was no match for him. But she stuck up for herself, and did not flee at his stare, scared as she was.
