T-T it not show. :c Plus also, Gauze interests me Qa, still staring at Kaoru's back, noticed his expression and her eyelids lowered, making her look more sleepy than she already was.
I'm not going to touch you if that's what you're thinking. Qa made a Hmph! noise and turned to face the opposite direction, only to find the sky was fading from fiery to a deep watery blue. She sighed again, crossing her delicate winter paws and closing her eyes for a brief moment. She wasn't sleepy any more.

aw mannnnn >> howaboutnow? :3 Gauze was his love interest for a little while. ^^ here is a picture: I think he's an achihond/anubite but cannot remember it there something else in there. ^^;
Kaoru relaxed visibly, then winced when his wings drooped onto the angry red sunburn. Holding them up out of it gingerly, he returned pale wisteria lamps to the sunset; appreciating the simple beauty. It was natural and charming and beautiful. How could anyone ever want anything more than that?
For some reason the chuckle that escaped his maw seemed unwarranted, to anyone but Kaoru? Maybe. It seemed funny enough to him that he of all anubites would end up on a scenic cliff, still warm from the powerful summer sun, with a beautiful white fem. It just seemed unlikely and hilarious.

WHOG. hottt~ XD;; ooooh....so Gauze interested Kaoru too lolol she's cute though. I like her eyes. <3 Her ears became alert as the chuckle danced in the hair. Qa stiffened her expression and opened her eyes, she was becoming more impatient, and said aloud,
I think I'll go explore a little, She paused and stood on the cool rock to avoid falling asleep any longer. Qa turned around to face Kaoru.
Do you want to come with me?

Gauze . . . Gauze is a he XD;; the picture is Kaoru from Dir En Grey ^^ The velvety black anubite was beggining to blend into the night more and more as darkness fell; engulfing the two anubites. Where they really alone in the land? Kaoru looked off, watching the last dying strands of violent red and orange fade into the sky. Qa's voice brought him back sharply from the in-between place where he sometimes wandered, a quiet place.
Yeah, sure. He replied after a little while; standing and shaking out his coat. It was stiff from where the sweat had dried in it--stiff and uncomfortable. The sovereign, as he had once been, shuddered and shuffled his wings. Where should we go? He was having a hard time seeing her; Kaoru's sight was not the best as it stood but his night vision was terrible.

agh! I apologize ^ ^;;; Somewhere where there's a lake...or some sort of water. I need to rinse off. Badly.
Qa looked backward into the cave at Kaoru's little birds, and wondered if they'd be safe. She didn't want to say anyhing becaus she was sure that Kaoru always had them on his mind.
The silver gibbous moon was raising more and more into the sky, staring down at them, almost lovingly. Without thinking first, Qa stated blandly, You should wash that sunburn off too.

lol s'okay I dontmind ^^ Kaoru made a mumbling response that would pass for agreement before he stood, shaking out his short fur again. The dry, tight feeling of dried sweat was a regular sensation all over his black bod by that time, a little shiver of discomfort worked its way along his spine. The anubite could only imagine how much worse it must have been for Qadesh; with her fur so long as it was.
I saw a lake a little ways to the North; we are as entitled to using it as anyone.

Qadesh looked around for any sign of maybe a puddle, as she heard Kaoru make his comment. She looked at him and again interrogated, You're sure you've never been here before? Her mouth remained open, and she began to pant. Her tail fell down to the floor.
The night air was humid and sticky. quite unpleasant for someone of Qa's standards.

Upon not getting an answer, Qa barked at him and found her way down to the bottom of this little hotel.
We should get going if we want to reach the lake sooner. Qa had no navigational skills, but saying this she felt a little smart, even though she wasn't very bright. At all. The only thing that matters, dear, Her mother once said to her, is that you can say sentences that make sense
We better not miss the alpha. Qa added as she looked back up at Kaoru.
Well? Are you coming?

The bigger anubite shrugged slightly, and followed Qa; hoping she hadn't noticed he had zoned out again. It happened when he got tired: he rarely slept just sat there staring into space. It was an insomniac's curse.
You seem to know where you're going. He said randomly, stepping off the baked clay structures that housed the anubites. I believe the lake is that way? One muddy black paw lifted an indicated the smoky black night. His thin tail swished once, and the misty eyes tried to find Qa in the darkness. It as a new moon, unfortunately; and Kaoru had terrible night vision.

Qa squinted at his paw, and turned her head. She made a hiccuping noise and looked back at him. Her pupils were illuminated in the black abyss, but this still didn't help her to see in the night. She raised her head to look over everything, maybe catching a glimpse of the moon's light reflecting off of the water, but there was nothing to see. Only the ebony air.
Why don't we guess? I don't suspect there would be any predators around here. We should be fine if we watch out for...I dunno... She scanned the lands carefully, then added as she looked back at what she suspected to be Kaoru, ...trees.

He laughed. It was genuine, bass amusement of the best kind. Laughter that did not undermine other's courage or social standing; just good, honest humor. He looked a little surprised at himself afterwards, taking advantage of the darkness that cloaked the cold anubite lands. Once upon a time there would have been something predatory to fear: him. Kaoru and his gang of anubites were always ready to raid unknowing residents of there landing sites. But not here. This land was empty and dead.
Yeah, trees. That way. He finished the pick-and-choose game and walked straight into Qa. Or not. Sorry. He turned around and chose another direction.

Qa chuckled quietly and walked forwards, guessing where there were no trees. She yelped as she hit her delicate feminine paw on a stone as she was walking. Qa paused for a moment to consume the sudden jolt of pain, closing here eyes tightly. She opened them, only to find a small lightning bug on her nose. She smiled.
Kaoru? Qa said, realizing that she'd been not paying attention, Kaoru? are you close? She looked around, slightly frightened, and began to run, searching for her...'guide' [/color

What? Hey, where did you go? He turned around to look for Qadesh, blinked, and stared. Small, brief, delicate flashes of light did little to illuminate the darkness; but there were so many . . . the anubite's lip twitched into a smile. There was a sharp bump from somewhere in the night and a pained gasp. Kaoru sighed with resignation and gingerly made his way over to the sound's origin. He heard his name called several times but did not respond, concentrating on finding the white anubite. A patter of feet: and something brushed by him. Kaoru stiffened, turned, and walked after. Qa, I'm behind you now!

She jumped slightly, and turned around. the dancing insects glowed brightly enough for Qa to see a slight outline of Kaoru. Qadesh exhaled heavily thorough her nose, chuckled and said, Don't do that alright?
Qa turned back around and looked at the darkness, it was still swallowing the last of the sunset, slowly. Her eyelids drooped, and she added in an almost complete whisper,
I'd hate to be alone in this strange place.

Why's that? He asked, his face a shadowed anubis silhouette in the darkness of the new moon. Fireflies lit small sections of the anubite's handsome face in brief, flaring charges of yellow-orange. Almond-shaped eyes reflected the light completely, the plush fur dully capturing it. I wish there was a moon. He mumbled, hunching his shoulders and shifting. So much darkness was uncomfortable.
