So you know her.
Death Wish reapplied his weight to the left, flicking his dial to the side before returning a coolly articulate gaze back on the massive wolf. She's dead. She was my mother. Some bitch drowned her.
He wrinkled his nose, and the eyes that were the same shape as Sanuri's--almond and elegant--narrowed and flattened as all expression but for a subdued anger left them. The wolf fixed Akuma out of the corner of his eyes, turning to face him. I'm Death Wish, her son. I don't have a father.
He said these words matter-of-factly, not realizing that he did in fact have a father but had never had the circumstance to meet him; his mother's brother.
So the child of inbred, enslaved, and evil wolves came to meet his grandfather--the one who had started it all. Toniko would have been proud. She would have been especially proud of the way he reacted to the newcomer appearing alongside him.
The ridge of fur along his back shot up and pearly whites were exposed as the pink gums drew back. The pale eyes were suddenly alive with fire, as he crouched against the ground and hissed at the newcomer.

Lumin blinked briefly at the pup, but didn't move. He knew the rage of being eavesdropped on; he wouldn't take it against the pup. Of course, Lumin didn't want to give the pup the sense of achievement that he had triumphed against the adult, so he merely murmured, i am not afraid of you. however i am sorry for dropping in on your...
conversation.
His voice stuck onto the last word like honey. It lingered inside of his mouth and he added slowly, i merely believe that the gang of pups next to us may make a good army. He looked at the puppies with increasing calmness. Yes, they'd certainly make a good army. But would the adult accept him?

Torien narrowed his eyes. So, these wolves were related. It seemed strange, since the larger wolf was black and red as the smaller was a lighter white. But though he was small, he wasn't about to attack. The winged one looked as if he would enjoy to slaughter them all right now. He looked at Scythe. The black wolf had also narrowed his eyes at the newcomer. His amber eyes watched them with untrusting eyes, taking in every movement, every twitch to call upon later if the information was needed. Most astonishing of all, the older brute looked bored. Scythe twitched his ears in a sign to Torien that they were to back off a bit. They walked over to the pile of rubble that was the collapsed cave. 'So what now?' Scythe eyed the other group of wolves tensely. Torien wanted to stay, but he knew he didnt have much of a choice if Scythe said no. He flicked his ears back in antipcipation. A minute passed before Scythe gave his answer. 'We stay, but for not much longer. Obviously this Akuma is a well-known Demon Wolf, so we certainely don't want to make him mad and storm off before we've been properly dismissed... Or simply pushed away.' Torien flexed his claws. Was Scythe saying that they might get to fight? Whatever happens, it'll be worth it when he sinks his dark claws into the black wolf Shadows thick pelt. He could hardely contain himself.
Snowcap grimaced. The situation looked bad. Not just that, but these wolves looked dangerous. Akuma had claws stained red, while Scythe had dark amber eyes that reflected distrust. The smaller wolves, though little in size, looked well-trained and tough from their time in Demona. This hot burning junction was dangerous to any pup, so the fact that they had survived for so long just made it all the more amazing. He saw a snake slither toward one of the smaller pups and killed it swiftly with a paw through its neck. When Snowcap was used to the warm life of a forest wolf, he wondered how even he- a fully grown wolf with pups of his won- had survived in this demonic place. But would he and his other comapanions last? Nothing is for sure in this hellish place, he thought, beleiving every word to the core as he noticed the snake slowing fall away as it turned to sand at death.

Akema's orange demonlights narrowed as he watched the white pup's reaction to the stupid black and orange beast's sudden appearance. Seemingly bored, he took in the stranger's words. Well, now... "I see. You may not be afraid of him, but you should be of me. What's to stop me from murdering you for interrupting this first meeting with my own flesh and blood? Really, stranger, you should have more care in these demesnes. You never know what...might...happen." As he was speaking, the demon padded around Lumin, orange eyes locked on orange, stepping so lightly as to be silent. But at the last sentence, he stopped, square in front of the smaller brute. Then, at the word 'happen', he lunged forward with one massive paw, aiming to bowl the other off his feet. So many innocents, so little time.

In a split second, Lumin dodged to the ground. He couldn't match this brute's strength. But he could match his speed. In fact, it looked as if this brute was not meant for speed and agility, but only for mere strength. The shaggy pelt 'pon his back was not meant for heavy running. But Lumin's short cut pelt, light and free, was. Quickly he disappeared. He trotted over by Snowcap but didn't mask his scent. Amusing, this creature, but equally terrifying. He couldn't help thinking of how bad-tempered he was.
Such manners! laughed Lumin to himself, quietly--his own theory had backlashed when he appeared in their conversation.

Deathwish ceased hissing as soon as Akuma spoke. The older, more experienced wolf's calm stifled the small puppy's ferocioty. Pale, pale lamps turned glittering to the other wolf, who was tall but not nearly as tall as Akuma. And he had nothing on muscles! Deathwish smirked to himself, turning imperceptibally to face the wolf more squarely. He listened to the dialogue and tightened every muscle in his body for the strike. Akuma bounded forward for the wolf, who was smaller and very obviously lighter. But no matter how light this strange orange wolf was--Deathwish was lighter.
He darted forward on tensed paws with the grace of a cat, jaws opening and snapping for the wolf's leg. He thought he caught something--but if he did it was out of his mouth before he could bite down as hard as he wanted to. Cuts at the most. Deathwish turned in a sharp circle and faced Snowcap, staring at the orange wolf with narrowed, glittering eyes.

Torien sat down in the hot sand, bored. Would they ever get to fight? He licked his lips. Torien missed the taste of blood. As much as he wanted companions, his anxiety was deepening. All of these wolves looked like formidable enemies. He turned to look at Scythe, whose amber eyes flickered around at the scene around him, missing nothing, taking in every twitch of a paw, curl of a lip, flexing of a claw. All these wolves were restless and tired from their own journeys. Scythe looked at him with icy, bored eyes. Stay where you are, and put away your claws. We can't win a battle against wolves like these ones. Torien read the silent reply to his questioning gaze in Scythes eyes. Would he ever get to become a Demon wolf? And suddenly, he got an idea. If he could defeat the red and black one in front of him, he would probably have all of these other wolves at his mercy! He curled his lip back in a snarl, ignoring Scythes surprised glare, and launched himself at the winged wolf, ready to tear his fur off.
Snowcap sighed inwardly. Did Deathwish really want to fight him? As if he didn't have enough problems. He flicked his gaze over to his mate. She looked uncomfortable, and Snowcap dropped his gaze to his paws. What sort of mess had he gotten his comrades into now? Right after he had led them into Demona! I'm a terrible leader, He thought with yet another sigh. The last thing he wanted to do was fight. His wolves were all sitting a little ways away, eyes flicking around the great desert uncertainly, and Snowcaps anxiety returned. Had he led all these wolves to their deaths? Then he saw the black and white pup throw himself onto the bigger red and black brute. Uh-oh, Snowcap thought, getting into a position to grab the pup back from the beast after t had its tail shredded off. What an idiot that pup was!

Akuma watched as his grandson lunged for the interloper, and then watched said wolf disappear. His nose followed his scent over to the white wolf, but he didn't pursue. He'd made his point. He looked down at the pup beside him appraisingly. He just might have what it took to survive in Demona, to be worthy enough to claim relationship with the greatest monster that ever lived. One black ear twitched, and the devil stepped back in time to blandly watch a black pup land, spitting angrily, where he'd been standing. ...Was this pup really that stupid? He looked at the one he'd assumed was the brat's guardian. "Your minion ought to have brains, not just fierceness. He won't survive long without." He placed one paw on Torien's back, pinning him. He pondered what to do with him. He very nearly swatted the pup away, but catching Deathwish's eye, he stopped and stepped back. A test. Was the pup really worthy enough to claim kinship? Or would he have to erase the shame of his loins?

Scythe glared at Torien, rage boiling up inside him. How could the pup ignore a direct order from him? He slowly walked over to the cub, and Torien looked up at him with stubborn eyes. Scythe walked the pup over the head with his front paw, sending Torien tumbling through the black sand. 'Idiot! What were you thinking?' He called out to the pup, spitting. Torien raised his head and looked at Scythe, who was, a second later, right beside him. Torien spun around to face him. 'I'm sick of all this waiting! Who cares about these other wolves? Lets go already!' Torien shouted at Scythe, who gritted his teeth in anger. Torien had no respect for the older wolf. He hit Torien in the stomach-hard. The blow forced him farther out into the desert. And this time, Toriends head stayed bowed. 'You may possibly be the stupidest pup in Demona! Have you no respect for the wolf who brought you back from the brink of death? What were you trying to prove, useless cub?' ' I'm sorry, Scythe. I only wanted to prove to you and the other wolves that I could be the strongest wolf in Demona, and I underestimated... Akuma.' Slowly Torien raised his head, showing that he had his lips curled back in an angry snarl, but Torien wasn't looking at scythe, or even Akuma. He was looked at his paw, which he had raised, flexing his claws. ' I hate this place! And I'm not useless! I'll show you once I have my powers! The powers that were rightfully meant for me! Scythe couldn't help but smirk. Torien may not be the sharpest fang in the jaw, but he had spirit, and seemed determined enough. 'Come on,' He called, motioning with his tail that they were going back to the wolves. 'You want to be a Demon wolf? If you can't listen to orders and act with respect, you'll die young.'

Deathwish caught Akuma's eye and his own eyes hardened and narrowed with the increase of ferocity and paramount viciousness. The white pup tensed all over, concentrating hard on Torien; the black puppy who would dare to oppose his grandfather.
Deathwish in his premature hold on a power he barely understood; searched for Torien's conciousness in a cave full of the things. His mouth opened slightly; and a purple whisp trickled out of the corner. Deathwish's eyes rolled back, and the puppy tumbled to the hot ground as though dead. The whisp faded into the atmosphere; twisting towards Torien. It slipped into his body beneath his claws; rising up into his heart. Deathwish giggled evilly as he looked out of Torien's eyes; and in a show of will immediatly tried to seize control of the other puppy's body. His willpower and stubbornness and determination branched out into Torien's muscles and bones and flesh and mind, in an effort to paralyze him temporarily and give the body to Deathwish.
The entire time his living body lay still and cold on the cave floor; seeming even more frail as it was so still and lacking Deathwish's currently absent; considerable spirit.
Give me your body. He whispered inside of Torien's mind, a devil child.
