Dao slowly walked under the forgotten moon, her daughters Hannah and Keelee trotted to catch up. But her only son, Janson, staggered behind. He fought a fit of sputtering coughs. By the stench you knew he was terribly sick. Mo- cuh cuhther! Waicuht up! I cuhnt keep up! cuh cuh cuh
Mommy will..... He be Okay?
But Dao wasn't listening, she had run over to her son, her only son. Honey, are you okay? She tried not to show, but waves of fear and stress pored out out of her like a storm.
I thicuh so.. But it was obvious he wasn't when he bent over and vomited blood.
Oh think! Isn't there anyone here who can help us!
Suddenly Janson collasped, Hannah and Keelee gasped.
NO Janson NO!
His breath came in gasps, gagging and sputtering.
NO! NO! NOOO!
Janson was lying very still, hardly moving. Mother.....Mother, whats, whats hap-p-pening to me? Am-m I dy-y-ying? Mommy..
His last breath came in a hicup, then he was gone.
Keelee gasped, Hannah sobbed.
Dao nudged Janson's unmoving lifeless body.
Can someone help us!? Anyone? anyone...

[Xiao]

I, Minoru walked over the grass. I snarled in pain as I walked on a little rock, and my paws opened up and started bleeding again. Soon I heard the snippet of a howl of pure pain and agony. I ran as fast as I could, my pain meant nothing now. The tears were falling from my eyes I was running so fast. "What is the matter?" I say some how as I try to catch my breath. "Oh no." I whisper as I see a little pup's unmoving body.

[Yami]

Dao was too caught up in grief to realize the incoming of the stranger. My son....my only son. He's gone. gone. she sobbed.
Hannah was frozen with fear, the only words she could get out were, Mom he's going to be okay, right? he'll get up and we can go, right....
But Keelee sniffling turned to the stranger, Hey you! Get out now! You don't belong here snfJust go! She cried the last words as a teary eyed mess, We don't need anyone, not anyone....

[Xiao]

I looked at the little one who seemed angry at me and said "I came to help, but I seem to be too late." She then said "Well if you do not want me bye." She walked away, as she was fast dissapearing she heard something. She then walked back to see who had called her back.

[Yami]

Wait! Miss! Maybe you help..... my mother, she isn't doing to well. Yes Hannah, my sissy, is in shock but she will still be fine. But mother.. mommy won't be the same without some help. She look up with pleading brown eyes Can you help her?

[Xiao]

(occ Minoru is a fae)
"Yes I can try to help." I then walk up to the mother and wrap my tail around her and whispered words of comfort. As soon as she was better I walked up to the little one that was called Hannah and comfortered her. I asked them "Who are you and where are you going and why. Also do you have somewhere to go?" I waited for them to digest the info and answer me.

[Yami]

Dao hiccuped the last of her tears. It was over, there was nothing she could do. Where we going? Well I don't know really. We were looking for some help for..... She broke off not daring to look at the body. Help for Janson! Hannah piped up, trying to be as much help as possible. But that only made matters worse, Dao broke into tears. Shut up! Keelee hissed. Oh this is going to be a long day! And a sad one......

[Xiao]

I watched her morning and moved my shoulder so she could cry on it. I look at the little one and say ina whisper only she could hear "Please can you not talk about Janson? It will make you mom cry and you don't want that do you?" I look at them mom with pity in my pale blue eyes. "I know how you feel." I say offering support for her. I let her cry and waited for it all to stop.

[Yami]

Dao cried for a long time, she cried for so long she fell asleep crying.
Meanwhile Hannah and Keelee started to play quite games like tag and hide-and-seek. But none of them felt like playing it just didn't feel right without Janson. So they sat down by the stranger and lay down, trying to fly asleep as well.

[Xiao]

I lick the little ones on the top of their head to try to comfort them. I felt tried two, so I curled up in a ball. As I fell asleep I dreamed of Ryo so calm and confident. I woke bolt up and cried out "Ryo!" When I saw them staring I said "Ehehe sorry dreaming of my brother, who disappeared." I shook my thick grey pelt and fell asleep dreaming of Ryo the last time I saw him. I whined and my paws twitched in my sleep as I tried to run to him, but I was reliving the past. I whimpered and my paws scratched the earth feebly as I ran to try to catch up. "Come Minoru you can do it!" Then as the earth bridge broke. "Good bye little sister I will see you later." He said as he walked away. "Ryo come back you are all I have! Please I'm so lonely, little, scared, and I can't fend for myself!"

[Yami]

Me and sissy woke up to the stranger running and crying out in her sleep. Hannah whispered to me that she thought maybe she was one of those coo-coo wolves who go nuts in there sleep. I told her to shut up for all it was worth. She had said her brothers name was Ryo, the name she had called out in her dreams. She said Ryo had disappeared. I wondered why, I can't ever imagine Hannah running away from me. But I let the stranger sleep, I didn't want to get mad and growl at me. That was always scary when mommy would do that when she was frustrated. So I calmly waited until she awoke. Then asked what was on my mind, What's your name? You never told us. And why did Ryo go away from you, he must of been a meany. I hoped I hadn't made her growly-angry when I insulted her brother, but it just didn't make seance to me, like everything else in the world.

[Xiao]

"My name is Minoru. My brother left because we were always travelling and we came to a tiny bridge. I said I did not want to cross but he did. He told me to come on, but I could not cross and it broke. He tried to find a way, but he found none so he made me a promise. I live for that promise." I say as I run out of breath. "And what are your little guy's names, and your mom's name?" I ask as I look at them. The little grey one was strong, like Ryo I think while winching. I look around and ask "Are you guys hungry? If you are I can catch some food for us."

[Yami]

I, Keelee nodded as she told her story. It was sad, I could never bere to be parted from Hannah or Mommy. I'm so sorry Minoru that's sad. But I've never seen a bridge before, it sounds scary. Is it like a monster? But I couldn't imagine crossing a bear. I shuddered, I've always hated bears after one slayed Daddy. As for names I'm Keelee, my sissy is Hannah, and Mommy's real name is Dao. But of course we call her Mommy. And as you know Janson was Janson, our brother....... I trailed off lost in thought. Where is Janson now Minoru, if he's not with us?


Sorry this will be my last post for a few days I'm going away for a few days and won't be back till Wednesday or Thursday.

"He is up in heaven. Heaven is where good manens go when they die. A bridge is a human thing that makes it so you can cross something., Some are big, and some are small and almost wave in the wind." I look around and say "I'm coming to catch some food. Be right back." I ran out to see what I could find. I snuck up on a rabbit with my pelt brushing the grass. I walk toward it, and it doesn't notice me. Just as I'm about to pounce it jumps up and runs. "Darn!" I cry as I sprint toward it, and grab it killing it. I then smelt something I had not smelled for a long time. I drop my rabbit and run as fast as I can toward the scent. All to late I see that I'm lost. I look around but still follow the scent and then something grabs me and all is black.

[Yami]

I Keelee nod as Minoru tells me these things about Heaven and bridges. My mind wanders to what else lay behind these walls of grass and water. What else I never knew of. But Minoru leaves to hunt and soon I hear Hannah start to snore again and mommy mutter Janson in her dreams. That's when I hear the yelp of terror and then all quite again. I run as fast as my little stubby legs carry me, across little fields and tall, tall trees. And then I stop for breath and see it, I dare not look away in case it comes after me. This is where the yelp came from because I see the cold body of Minoru. I hope she's not dead, because I already lost too much. But there is nothing I can do so I just stare up at the thing towering above me.
