Thanks, said Vidar. He then went to work on the small rabbit. It wasn't much, but it would be enough for a while. Vidar finished the meal quickly, and then began to lick the blood and gore off his grey paws. Sorry there wasn't anything bigger to eat.... Vidar got up from his place on the floor of the cave, a few paces away from Marie. For a second a thoughtful look came over his face and then he opened his mouth to speak. Where do we go now? He had been so concerned with finding shelter and some food the night before that he had forgotten to ask what they would do after they left the cave.

Marie stood and looked out the door of the cave, almost dreamily. I have no idea.

[/color] She stepped toward the male and rubbed her nose against the bottom of his muzzle as a way of saying be right back, and stepped out of the cave into the snow, looking around. The sun was actually visible now, and it was shining pleasantly in the middle of the sky, giving Marie plenty of light to find somewhere, anywhere where there was warmth. [/font][/center]

ooc: sorry its been so long, I've sorta had some issues...
Vidar exited the cave, stepping into the brilliant sunlight. He turned to Marie, admiring her eyes. The wolf suddenly thought: What if she doesn't want to come with me? What if she just wants to go her own way? He averted his own eyes from hers, and instead focused on the icy ground and his big paws. Vidar just stood there for a while, foolishly opening and closing his mouth, wanting to say something but not able to find the appropriate words. After a few moments he looked across at her again. Umm.... What happens now? I mean, about us? If you, umm, just want to go do your own thing that's fine... I just....
He then grew silent. Vidar sighed and sat down, not able to look at her.

After hearing his noticeably nervous lyrics, Marie looked over at the chocolate wolf and smiled lovingly, her eyes softened, and she felt like she was floating on air. Vidar wanted to travel with her! She looked downwards to the crystal snow and closed her eyes tightly with excitement, wanting to howl out her bliss.

After this silent outburst, the white fae's dial flipped back upwards to face Vidar, and she scooted towards him slightly. I would love to go... she paused, and looked down at his paws, comparing them with her petite her own, then added after a while, wherever you go...

We should get going then, said the chocolate wolf. But where? We could join a tribe, or just wander around here and look for a pack. Any ideas? The brown brute turned to the femme and thoughtfully awaited her answer. Then his thoughts began to drift to his father. Vidar wondered how Samson was doing after all this time. More drifting thoughts and Vidar's mind settled on a warm image of the possible future: he and Marie living happily together. This new daydream consisted of white and brown pups with emerald green eyes frolicking in a lush forest.
